14 covers , orchestrées de façon riche et variée, grâce à la complicité des 8 intervenants, avec bien sûr du ukulélé, en vedette sur trois titres "Lullaby of the leaves", "Me Myself and I" et "I Wanna Go Back to my Little Grass Shack" et en accompagnement sur quelques autres.
Un très bon disque de blues acoustique, ce n'est finalement pas si courant, qui mérite largement le détour. Un incontournable pour ceux qui on aimé le précédent.
They've done it once again ! And it's wonderful as usual, probably better than the first one if it's possible. 14 covers of old blues from the 20' and 30', Veronica's lovely voice, Max's incredible guitar and the help of 8 others musicians from the italian blues scene. This is a VERY good CD, with obviously some ukulele (even if this record IS NOT a ukulele record). The uke is featured as the main instrument in three great rendition of "Lullaby of The leaves", "Me Myself and I" and "I wanna go Back to my Little Grass Shack", and appears as a rhythm instrument in several other songs. Anyway this record is a must for every blues fan, with or without ukulele. And don't forget to go see them live, you won't be dissapointed.
