Mené tambour battant par Uke JACKSON, le New York Ukulele Ensemble (prononcez ensembeule) entend faire parler de lui: 10 membres, 9 ukulélés, 10 titres qui n'engendrent pas la mélancolie, dont 5 composés par le patron qui assure également les lead vocals sur une majorité de chansons.
Le swing est au rendez-vous, cuivré, fluté, mais surtout ukulélé, inutile de résister, vous battrez du pied.

Founded in 2006 by Uke Jackson, the New York Ukulele Ensemble is a group of musicians devoted to playing the ukulele. The thrust of the Ensemble's music is subversively seductive. The sweet harmonies of the female singers, combined with the zany lyrics of many of the tunes, make listening a complete entertainment experience. Don't worry if you find yourself bursting into laughter at some of the outrageous songs sung by Uke Jackson and the gang. That's what's supposed to happen.
Band members are: Heather Lev, Katie Down, Daria Grace, J Walter Hawkes, Greg Gattuso, Peter Maness, Uncle Zac, and Uke Jackson.
